Runway Modeling

Can anyone be a runway model? Perhaps. Would everyone want to be a runway model were they to know what many of them have had to go through to get to the top? Perhaps not. The fashion industry can be glamorous, it can be fun and exciting. But, just like the entertainment industry, it can also be very cold and unforgiving, and many young women are driven to depression and despair along their path to becoming a runway model.

Once you're there, runway modeling is great, of course. You're rich, young, beautiful, everyone loves you, but does this always last? Not necessarily. The important thing to remember is runway modeling success can be fleeting, and that you must have and maintain a strong sense of self-worth if you are going to go the long haul in such a fast-paced, always-looking-for-the-newest-freshest-look industry.
