You don't have to be the most beautiful, glamorous, irresistible woman in the world to get into catalog modeling. In fact, you don't even have to be pretty, or even a woman. The word modeling is most often associated with lovely young women strutting down the runway in Milan, but in fact, there are numerous opportunities to be a model that have nothing to do with the world of high fashion. Catalog modeling is a great example.
Catalog modeling is not limited to just being physically attractive. Companies that sell everything from clothing to auto parts need people that represent the average person in society to model their products for magazines, catalogues, and commercials. If you want to get into catalog modeling, look for what kind of work is out there and you will see that it is not limited to CKNY shoots on the Riviera. There are many opportunities to do catalog modeling for all kinds of people, you just have to look for them, and be prepared for a difficult journey, because no matter where you find your niche, success comes from dedication and hard work.
